MacMemory 1.0 is my first completed programming project. Although its nothing astounding I think its kinda cute.
The game is similar to the game Simon(old round electronic memory do what I do type of game) so when you pick New Game from the file menu hit the ready button in the game window. Then look what button the computer flashes and click on it. The computer will then click the same button plus a new one. Click on both in succesion, and so on and so forth.
MacMemory flashes buttons from an array of randomly generated ints and its 100 numbers in length. so I guess if you can remember 100 consecutive buttons the program will probably blow up. I had no desire to write bown the 100 buttons and play it out so if anybody does please let me know what happens. Also let me know if it should have been longer than 100. I thought this was long enough to allow for anybody who would play it, but mayby not.
Sorry about asking for the $5.00 fee but I'm trying to buy the Inside Macintosh volumes and this will probably help out a little. Also I am curious as to how many people actually pay the small fees asked for by amature programmers. You can find my address under the About Apple Menu
item.
Any comments or suggestions on improvements are much welcomed, please feel free to Email me at either of the addresses contained on the same window as my street adress.
I would also be interested in any incompatabilities you find..
Last but not least Many Many thanks to Carl Haynes(author of Trash Selector) who was a great help to me.
